North Carolina passes restrictive new voter ID bill
North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory signed the most restrictive voter ID law in the U.S.A. Monday, and said that the right to vote is like “buying Sudafed.” For the absentee vote, however, which is 50% Republican and 86% white, no ID is needed. The ACLU’s Dale Ho and Nia Malika Henderson join MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell to discuss the new law.
