Reverend: 2020 candidates should make minimum wage a central issue
MSNBC’s Kendis Gibson discusses the fight for a higher minimum wage with Rev. William Barber, who joined 2020 contender Julian Castro at a march by McDonalds workers on Thursday in North Carolina. Barber says low wages are unjust, and that corporations and politicians have rigged the system against workers. He said candidates should be making minimum wage a central issue in their campaigns.
