Republicans lose leverage


Since reaching the fiscal cliff deal Republicans claimed to have leverage in the debt ceiling negotiations, by threatening not to raise the limit. But their own base has started to publicly ask them to fall in line. Big Business, Wall Street, even Karl Rove seems to realize the desperate situation they're in. Republicans are divided, and they're alienating their base. Ed Schultz calls their bluff.
