Following a deadly mass shooting at one if its stores, Walmart, the largest retailer in the U.S., is halting ammunition sales for assault style rifles and handguns, and is banning shoppers from openly carrying while inside its stores. Thomas Marshall, a Walmart employee who sent a petition to stop gun sales to his CEO, said he and other employees felt they ‘would no longer be willingly complicit.’Sept. 4, 2019
