Police officers in Maryland are mourning the loss of Jacai Colson, a 28-year-old officer, who was killed Sunday in the line of duty. Colson was not in uniform when he joined other officers in responding to a man firing at a police station, however the bullet that killed Colson was not fired by the suspect’s gun.
