From reunifying separated families to reimagining DHS, Biden-Harris Administration facing big immigration hurdles

DACA recipients got a win Friday when a federal judge ruled for the program to be reinstated. It’s a blow to President Trump, who has been continuously trying to end the program before he leaves the White House. DACA is just one of the many programs and policies the incoming Biden-Harris administration will need to address when it comes to tackling immigration, especially after four years of the Trump administration. MSNBC’S host of “American Voices” Alicia Menendez is joined by Caitlin Dickerson, the national immigration reporter for The New York Times, Juan Escalante, the digital campaigns manager at FWD.US who is awaiting his DACA renewal, and Greisa Martinez Rosas, a DACA recipient and the Executive Director of United We Dream.
