Democratic Congressman Sean Casten trying to draw some heat to energy policy, referencing the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, FERC, to the tune of Rihanna’s iconic hit “Work.” Casten isn’t the first elected member to invoke popular music for a political point, with UK MP Wes Streeting quoting Dr. Dre and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries using a Biggie Smalls lyric on the Senate floor.
