Hospitals snap into trauma mode after tragedy
Dr. Michael Anderson, a chief medical officer at the UH Case Medical Center in Cleveland, explains how hospital emergency rooms respond to a tragedy like the one in Connecticut. Anderson tells The Cycle’s Krystal Ball, that although the hospital do conduct mock drills to prepare for these situations, “emotions sometimes take over.”
