During the seventh hearing of the Jan. 6 committee, conversations were presented from an encrypted group chat called "Friends of Stone" which included Trump ally Roger Stone, Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes and Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio. At a December rally in Washington, Rhodes called on Trump to invoke martial law and promised a "much more bloody war" if he did not. July 12, 2022
