New York celebrates first weekend of same-sex marriages

659 couples picked up marriage licenses and 484 marriages were performed in New York City this weekend, as it became legal for the first time for same-sex couples to be married in the state. Msnbc’s Thomas Roberts spoke once again to John Feinblatt and Jonathan Mintz, who were married in a ceremony officiated by boss Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Sunday.July 25, 2011
