It's the first major step in getting rid of collective bargaining rights for state workers.  After 61 hours of debate, the WI state Assembly passesd the budget bill, 51-17, early this morning.  On the floor, protesters erupted, yelling, "no!" and "shame".  You can see the video here.  

There's still no state Senate vote - the WI-14 remain out-of-state.
