Currently hearings are underway in the House and Senate as lawmakers look to uncover exactly what happened on the September 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.  Four Americans were killed in the attack including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and two members of the CIA.

As they dig deeper into these attacks they are also looking into how the administration handled and acted in the aftermath, which became a controversial talking point during the second presidential debate, as we all remember.

While the current Petraeus scandal has been swarming the headlines, there were doubts as to whether his testimony at these hearings would actually happen. Well, it appears that Petraues reportedly volunteered to testify as he believes it was the right thing to do and he will appear at both hearings Friday morning.

To help the Cyclists understand what is happening on the Hill we are talking to both NBC News Capitol Hill Correspondent Kelly O’Donnell and NBC News Terrorism Analysis Evan Kohlmann. Be sure to tune in at 3 p.m. for a full update of the days events.
