Hey Laura, see if you can glimpse some Northern Lights while you're up there

Add to the list of things I'm learning about Alaska because Rachel and colleagues are bringing the show up there tonight the fact that the Northern Lights are subject to forecast like weather. Actually, given that number system, it reminds me more of the fire risk level sign on the front lawn of the local fire department. (How cool would it be if there was also a local space observatory that posted astronomical spectacle ratings.)Laura, the forecast today says there's a chance of seeing it from as far away as Anchorage even though activity is low.
