Hillary Clinton uses 'Throwback Thursday' meme in new video

Hillary Clinton's campaign paid homage to the "Throwback Thursday" social media trend in new campaign video entitled "#GOPTBT." Published on the same day the Republicans are getting ready to face off at their first 2016 presidential debate, the video portrays GOP policies as reactionary and retrograde.

The campaign video opens up with the text: "Get ready for Throwback Thursday. It's the #GOPTBT debate where Republicans share their backward plans for America." Then, it transitions to highlight how Republican candidates have "throwback" stances on health care, immigration, women's rights, gay marriage, etc., all of which are expected to be hot topics during tonight's debate. 

The video was published on the "The Briefing," an extension of the campaign dedicated to deliver facts about Clinton's positions and her record directly to voters. 

The video is even sprinkled with "throwback" photos of the candidates. Watch it here:
