Former President George H.W. Bush Taken to Houston Hospital

President George H.W. Bush was taken by ambulance to the Houston Methodist Hospital "as a precaution" after experiencing "shortness of breath" Tuesday.

President George H.W. Bush was taken by ambulance to the Houston Methodist Hospital "as a precaution" after experiencing "shortness of breath" Tuesday, said a statement from his office.

"The former president, age 90, will be held for observation, again as a precaution," the statement read.
