Open enrollment season appears to be off to a much smoother start this year, but there were still a few bugs in the online insurance marketplaces.

OPEN ENROLLMENT:The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reported that there were more than 100,000 applications on the first day of open enrollment for Obamacare — but the day was not free from issues. Consumers and brokers in various states had difficulties logging into and setting up accounts.
