Harvard professor Elizabeth Warren recently announced her bid for the Senate, and with just a week into the race, she has emerged with a slight edge over Senator Scott Brown, R-Mass. Warren joins Morning Joe to discuss why she's running.
Elizabeth Warren: "A big company like General Electric pays nothing in taxes, while we’re turning around and saying to college students they’ll have to take on more debt in order to get an education or seniors will have to learn to live on less. The importance of this is to say that GE can hire an army of lobbyists to get a complicated tax code that has just those little special openings for it…Who is it that represents middle class families? Who’s out there lobbying on behalf of middle class families?"
