Ed Rollins, former campaign manager for Michele Bachmann: “I think Romney has never quite made the sale. There’s just something there. Although I think he’s had some good debates, and I think he may very well end up being the nominee, but at the end of the day it’s not over yet. Republicans are not sold on him, and we’re traditionally a party that takes the next guy in line.
Joe Scarborough: “Conservatives don’t trust him, do they?”
Rollins: “They don’t trust him, and to a certain extent he may be more in tune with his views today with the conservative party than he was…but they’re not there.”
