President Obama unveils a new initiative focused on brain mapping Tuesday, with $100 million of the his federal budget backing the effort. According to the White House, "federal research agencies will partner with companies, foundations, and private research institutions" also investing in neuroscience research. We'll talk to NBC White House Correspondent Kristen Welker and cover the press conference live.

Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Fla., a member of the House bipartisan group working on immigration reform, joins us Tuesday. We'll ask how close his group, and the Senate Gang of Eight, are to reaching a deal.
