The Buffett Rule: Democrats and President Obama are beginning a joint effort to paint Republicans and Mitt Romney as one percenters who would rather cut taxes on the rich, and cut services to everyone else. The President speaks in Florida tomorrow ahead of a tax day vote on the Buffett Rule -- the idea that millionaires shouldn't pay lower taxes than their secretaries. It shouldn't be a tough sell, politically, as polls show a majority favors the Democratic side of this fight.

 

New polling shows President Obama leading Mitt Romney among so-called "swing Independents", the subset that's truly up for grabs this election.
