Wanted: Super Bowl ad actress

Updated
Do you recognize this actress? We want to interview her ASAP. Maybe you can help us out.

She appeared in the controversial Super Bowl ad controversial Super Bowl ad from Republican Senate candidate Pete Hoekstra of Michigan, who’s running against Debbie Stabenow, an incumbent Democratic senator. It’s been dubbed the “most racist” ad of the year.

The spot shows the Asian woman standing in a rice paddy (no stereotype there!) thanking Stabenow for raising the debt ceiling. In broken English, she says, “Debbie spend so much American money you borrow more and more from us. Your economy get very weak. Ours get very good. We take your jobs. Thank you, Debbie spend-it-now.” We’ve reached out to Hoekstra’s campaign, but they have yet to return our calls for comment.

If you know the identity of this actress, please tweet me, Facebook us or post in the section below. If you prefer not to give us a specific name that’s okay, too. Any leads would be helpful.
