There is a metric ton of schadenfreude to go around just listening to Mitt Romney say the words ‘I like being able to fire people’.
But the six years of campaigning, the countless speeches, town hall meetings and television appearances may have all gone up in smoke and you can see that last six years (or more) going up in smoke in the single frame of video above. 55 seconds and 12 frames into the Associated Press version of the “I like being able to fire people” clip.
During that frame of video (about 1/30th of a second) Romney knows he’s in trouble and he tries to restate his case for “firing people” in a more genteel manner.
I like being able to fire people who provide services to me. ((THE “OH FUUUUUUUUUDGE FRAME YOU SEE ABOVE)) You know, if someone doesn’t give me a good service that I need, I want to say, “I’m going to go get someone else to provide that service to me.”
Too late, pal. You have been pwned… by yourself. (see video again below)
Also, there is more reporting today from the Washington Post on Romney’s job creation claims. Those claims are circling the drain.
