msnbc's New Digital Home: Coming in 2013

What happened?
In 1996 Microsoft and NBC Universal joined forces to form msnbc. Since then, msnbc.com has delivered a powerful combination of NBC News, msnbc TV programming, and original reporting. On July 16, 2012, NBC Universal assumed full control of the partnership, and the online home for the award-winning journalism of NBC News will now be called NBCNews.com.

What does this mean for msnbc?
In essence, nothing has changed with msnbc TV on cable or online. Everything about who we are and what we stand for will still be available for you, right here where you’ve always found it. You’ll get the same great analysis and perspective on the issues that matter most to you. Moving forward, things will only get better. In 2013, msnbc will launch an all new digital home for our compelling content and you, our passionate community.

Thank you for being with us and stay tuned.
