Twitter all but exploded Thursday night as social media users engaged in a fierce debate over the colors of a two-toned cocktail dress, pictured below.
Some said the dress was obviously blue and black:
Others insisted it was gold and white:
The whole thing got fiery when parties on both sides of the issue started throwing virtual shade:
