Expect fireworks this morning on Capitol Hill when NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre sits before the Senate Judiciary Committee to discuss gun violence. LaPierre released a statement reiterating his call for more armed guards in schools ahead of Wednesday’s testimony

In Wednesday’s opinion pages: former Reagan Chief of Staff James Baker and current Michigan Congressman John Dingell offer their guidelines to help solve the gun violence issue in the nation. The Washington Post’s Dana Milbank wonders if it’s the last call for the Tea Party.
