GOP presidential hopeful Dr. Ben Carson dedicates much of the wall space in his Maryland home to himself.
Everything from his Presidential Medal of Freedom to stills from the TV series “Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story” to a painting of him and Jesus are on display in his house.
Carson has been under fire recently for his recollections of the past, some of which are allegedly exaggerated. But Carson remains on the defense, and from the looks of his house, he is very proud of his past.

Most of the shrines feature all the awards and certificates Carson has received over the years. Also included in the displays are a 2008 magazine page with the title “America’s Best Leaders,” which he is mentioned on, and pictures of Carson with former president George W. Bush, who awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Some objects and personal memorabilia are even placed in display cases.
