The White House is now pulling back from its initial account of the raid that led to Osama bin Laden's death. New details of the Al Qaeda leader's final moments surfaced yesterday, as Obama administration officials clarified their story. W.H. Press Secretary Jay Carney walked back claims that one of bin Laden's wives was used as a human shield. He said the woman actually rushed the American assaulter and was shot in the leg but not killed. The White House also said bin Laden himself was not armed but showed signs of resistance. He was then shot and killed.

msnbc Chief Washington Correspondent Norah O'Donnell brings the latest details.
