On Monday's show, Rachel said that if the Bachmann campaign intends to run in New Hampshire, they are going to have to make some New Hampshire friends -- very, very fast. With the entire New Hampshire staff having quit, and having told their senior adviser in the state that she wasn't a viable person to represent the campaign, Bachmann and company seemed to have left themselves with few options to meet the end-of-the-month filing deadline.
NBC's Jo Kent reports that the Bachmann campaign has found a way around that. Congresswoman Bachmann's primary paperwork and $1,000 filing fee arrived at the Secretary of State's office this morning, via express mail.
It's something -- the name Michele Bachmann will be on the ballot in New Hampshire. But since retail politics isn't a literal term, there's not much FedEx can do to help her on January 10.
