OBAMACARE PREMIUMS: The premiums for plans sold on Obamacare insurance exchanges are comparable to, and in some cases lower than plans offered by employers with similar coverage levels according to a new report by consultancy PwC. The company says that suggests new exchanges are competitive with current insurance market and could open doors to employers using health exchanges, could encourage more "narrow-network" plans (like those on the exchanges), and could pressure insurers to offer less costly plans to employers.
