#MonumentalAmerican: Tuskegee airman, WWII hero Wilfred Defour
Watch Ali Velshi honor Wilfred Defour, one of the longest-surviving members of the all-black Tuskegee airmen fighter group. After World War II, Defour worked at the U.S. Postal Service for over thirty years. He was honored last month in a ceremony renaming a Manhattan post office after the Tuskegee airmen. Defour passed away at the age of 100 years old in December of 2018.
