Former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs P.J. Crowley comments on the White House’s decision to provide small arms to the rebels in Syria. Crowley notes the significance of the administration’s decision from a policy standpoint and how it is more of a proxy war. Crowley notes that chemical weapons are the catalyst for the decision to provide military support.
