Preserving the history of Dunbar School

In Part I of Office Politics, MSNBC’s Alex Witt speaks with journalist and author Alison Stewart about her new book, “First Class.”  Stewart’s book takes a look at the story of the Dunbar School in Washington, D.C., America’s first public high school for black students. Stewart’s parents attended Dunbar School and told her about all of the famous graduates. She believed that the history of the school, its teachers, and its graduates, should be preserved.
