Captain Lawrence E. Dickson was a member of the all-black Tuskegee Airmen who went missing during World War II. His plane was shot down in 1944 and his remains were just recently identified. He had been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross at the age of twenty-four. His daughter hopes to bury her father in Arlington National Cemetery.Aug. 6, 2018
