NSA's surveillance program violates First Amendment

The ACLU has filed suit against the director of national intelligence, claiming the secret surveillance program violates the right to free speech as well as the right to privacy. Meanwhile, a bipartisan group of senators has proposed a bill that would declassify secret legal opinions reached by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
