Honoring a freedom fighter: Bayard Rustin

Bayard Rustin was the brains behind the historic March on Washington and served as an advisor to Martin Luther King Jr. But because he was openly gay, Rustin was nearly written out of the history books. Tomorrow, his partner Walter Naegle will accept the presidential Medal of Freedom, awarded posthumously to Rustin.
