Emmett Till’s death inspired civil rights leaders to act


Next Wednesday marks the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. It also marks 58 years to the day since 14-year-old Emmett Till was murdered in Mississippi, creating a flashpoint in the Civil Right Movement.
