Mitt Romney has the swagger of a seasoned politician. As we learned this morning, he has the pop culture tastes of a teenager.
The 64-year-old Republican presidential hopeful confessed to liking Twilight and American Idol on The Today Show.
"I like silly stuff too, I like the Twilight series. I thought that was fun." He got into it, per the suggestion of his granddaughter. "I don’t like vampires personally, I don’t know any." (Though, no word on how he would handle a possible zombie apocalypse).
He’s into American Idol. “This year with Scotty [McCreery] winning, that was terrific. That guy’s got talent.”
The former Massachusetts governor says he also likes the Beatles and enjoyed George W. Bush's book, Decision Points, as far as more serious reads go.
