The Internets asploded last night during the debate when Mitt Romney mentioned collecting "binders full of women" when assembling his gubernatorial cabinet. Now, moving quickly to mitigate damage from the bizarre comment-turned-meme, Romney's campaign has released the ad below featuring women from his Massachusetts Cabinet talking about how the former governor "totally gets working women."

Along with the ad, a tweet was sent from Mitt Romney's official Twitter account reading, "I understand the challenges women face and want to make it easier for them in the workplace."

Not to be left out, Romney's running mate went on CBS This Morning and was asked to explain the "binders full of women" comment. Congressman Ryan said Romney "went out of his way to try and recruit qualified women." Ryan then added, "By the way, he has an exceptional record of hiring women in very prominent positions in his administration, and that’s the point he was making."

Anyone left wanting more than memes can check out a newborn Twitter account called @RomneysBinder, which already has over 7,000 followers, or the Binders Full of Women blog on Tumblr.
