In a new television ad out Wednesday, the Obama campaign reminds voters of the Florida recount in the 2000 election in which George W. Bush won by a mere 537 votes.
The ad, aptly titled "537," entreats those who are thinking of staying at home on November 6 to get out to the polls. "If you're think that your vote doesn't count, that it won't matter," the ad says, "well, back then there were probably at least 537 people who felt the same way."

This kind of get-out-the-vote ad reflects how close the race really is in key battleground states like Florida, Ohio, Colorado, Nevada, Iowa, New Hampshire, Virginia, and Wisconsin—all markets where "537" will air.
Bill Clinton stars in a second Obama ad released today called "He Got it Right." Clinton said the same criticisms leveled at Obama's economic plan were leveled at his when he was in office. "Well, we created 22 million new jobs, and turned deficits into surpluses."
