Watch the trailer for the new Mitt Romney documentary

Netflix has released the first trailer for their new original documentary "Mitt," which follows Mitt Romney's campaign for President.

Though it seems far longer, it was just over a year ago that America was in the throes of the 2012 election season, between President Obama and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. Since the election, Romney has all but disappeared from the public spotlight. But now, a new film is bringing him back into the limelight.

On Wednesday morning, Netflix released a trailer for its new original documentary "MITT," which documents Romney's quest for the presidency. Director Greg Whitely spent six years following Romney on the campaign trail, documenting rarely-captured private moments with Romney and his closest inner circle. 

The first scene of the trailer features an emotional Romney and his family huddled together in a room on election night, watching results come in.  "So what do you think you say in a concession speech?" Romney asks. 

The film will be available to stream on Netflix on January 24, 2014. Watch the trailer below:
