While Mitt Romney may not set his hair on fire to win an election, he will drive to Detroit and recruit Kid Rock to his cause. The former Massachusetts governor, who has been campaigning hard in Michigan these last two weeks, personally asked Detroit's native son to help him on the campaign trail.  And he needs all the help he can get there right now.Romney, also from the Wolverine State, introduced the alt-country rocker last night at the Royal Oak Music Theatre in Royal Oak, Michigan. He told a crowd of supporters he would revitalize the state, specifically paying attention to Detroit, if elected president. He didn't list details of how he would make that happen. It was all about the music.

Kid Rock performed "Born Free" live at the rally, just one night before the Republican primaries in Michigan and Arizona. Mitt and his wife Ann rocked out on the sidelines.
