Lawrence O'Donnell traveled to Birmingham, Ala. this weekend to accept a donation to the K.I.N.D. fund from the Sixth Avenue Baptist Church's Cub Scout pack #3415.These 14 cub scouts raised more than $18,000 for children in Malawi through bake sales, car washes and spaghetti dinners. Members of the congregation at Sixth Avenue Baptist also donated money to provide desks and scholarships for students in Malawi.Lawrence accepted the donation at the church's Sunday service.
