On Thursday, President Obama held an event at the White House with Vice President Biden, mothers, and law-enforcement officials to put the spotlight back on reducing gun violence. The president urged Congress to take immediate action, at the very least in honor of Newtown victims and their families. Obama said, "Shame on us if we've forgotten. I haven't forgotten those kids." This comes on the same day authorities in Connecticut revealed a list of items found in Newtown shooter Adam Lanza's home.
