End of the road for Palin's bus tour?

Former half-term Alaska Governor Sarah Palin resumed her role as America’s Tweeter-in-Chief this afternoon, refudiating repudiating a (gasp) Fox News report that she has put her One Nation bus tour indefinitely on hold.  Palin, in her typical 140-character format, took the opportunity to jab her current employer. Sandwiched in between two plugs for her 21-year-old daughter’s recently released memoirs, Palin tweeted this:

According to the article, Palin has retreated to “Alaska, where it's prime salmon fishing season during 19 hours of daylight,” leading Fox to predict “Palin may disappoint those who want her to run for the presidency.”

After stopping in the early battleground State of New Hampshire, many wrongly viewed the One Nation bus tour as an indicator of Palin’s likelihood to run for President. With no additional stops listed on her SarahPAC website, and no word of an official campaign announcement, Palin’s tweet appears to be just another shot at the “lamestream media,” and not a hint of her presidential ambitions. What a long strange trip it’s been!
