Just in time for Easter, former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain released a creepy new ad depicting a bunny rabbit getting slung through the air and "shot." It's supposed to symbolism some point about taxes.A little girl starring in the ad says it represents "small business under the current tax code." Twice, she asks, "any questions?" Um, yeah. Tons! Viewers then see Herman Cain standing on a cliff, as if surveying the dark valley of high taxes below.
Note, when it comes to the actual shooting, it appears to be an animation and not an actual furry creature getting hit with a bullet. YouTube temporarily pulled the video down on Monday. An error message read, "This video has been removed as a violation of YouTube’s policy against spam, scams, and commercially deceptive content. Sorry about that."
Later, YouTube restored the clip. The video-sharing site explained to Politico,"Occasionally, a video flagged by users or identified by our spam team is mistakenly taken down. When this is brought to our attention, we review the content and take appropriate action, including reinstating videos that had been removed."Cain suspended his candidacy in December after getting tripped up by a slew of sexual harassment allegations and claims of an extra marital affair. He's continued to peddle his Sim City-esque 9-9-9 tax plan and make odd videos featuring animals, like his recent goldfish-flapping-out-of-water-to-represent-the-stimulus video.
