Breaking news: men like to cuddle

If you thought you knew what men and women are really like in the bedroom, you're in for a wake-up call.

If you thought you knew what men and women are really like in the bedroom, you're in for a wake-up call. According to a brand new Kinsey Institute survey, "surprisingly, frequent kissing or cuddling predicted happiness in the relationship for men, but not for women." The study looked at 1,009 heterosexual middle and older-aged couples from the U.S., Germany, Japan and Brazil, and also found more than 80% of couples surveyed were happy with their relationship.

Other interesting findings: For men, having more sexual partners throughout their life was actually a predictor of less sexual satisfaction. With women, the survey found women who had been with their partner for less than 15 years were not as sexually satisfied. But once they made it past the 15-year marker, the percentage went up dramatically.

Here at The Last Word, we always keep our eyes out for statistical outliers. So, when word of this survey came our way, we immediately noticed one glaring piece of data. Although on average couples had sex approximately six times over the four week study, one male respondent allegedly had sex 81 times over the same time period: an average of just under three times per day.
