Boehner: Tax hikes 'off the table'

This morning in a TODAY Show interview, House Speaker John Boehner talked to Matt Lauer about several topics including the relationship between the United States and Pakistan, the death of bin Laden, and the debate over the looming debt ceiling. On that last point, Speaker Boehner said Republicans would not consider any tax increases in negotiations over a debt ceiling deal. In fact, his exact words were: "It is off the table."
