Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain says he's expecting another accusation soon to be made public -- that he once had an extended extramarital affair with a woman.

In an interview on CNN, Cain said he knows the woman, whom he did not name, and said the accusation is baseless.

Extending a payroll tax cut for American workers will be high on Congress’s agenda as lawmakers return from a Thanksgiving break on Monday, but Democrats and Republicans are deeply divided about how to pay for it.

New York Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer said his party would introduce a plan to extend the tax cut into 2012 next week, and pay for it with a surtax on incomes greater than $1 million.  Schumer will be our guest at 8p/11p ET.

Democratic Rep. Barney Frank of Massachusetts announced his retirement today effective at the end of next year, closing out a congressional career of more than three decades capped by passage of legislation imposing new regulations on Wall Street. 

Frank, 71 and a lifelong liberal, won a House seat in 1980 and was one of the first lawmakers to announce that he is gay.
