In August, a Time Magazine poll found that 46% of Republicans in this country believe Barack Obama is a Muslim.
Not even a week ago, at his prayer breakfast, Obama spoke extensively about his Christian faith. You'd think that would have cleared up any confusion.
But just last night, a Fox News focus group showed us that many still don’t accept the truth. On Fox News Channel’s “Hannity”, Frank Luntz asked a group of 25 people, “How many of you believe Barack Obama is a Muslim?” 10 of the 25 participants raised their hands.
Don’t be silly, explains Sean Hannity, Obama attended a church where Rev. Wright would speak, so he clearly “believes in black liberation theology predicated on a very leftist, socialist, redistributive model.”
Tonight, Ed examines how Fox News is perpetuating the misconceptions surrounding Obama's religion, at a time when they should be telling the truth about the president.
