It will hosted by Newsmax, the right-wing website and magazine, and broadcast on the cable network ION Television."I was asked to do it by a number of people, including some of my friends that are Republicans, strong Republicans," Trump told msnbc. "I think I have a lot of good questions to ask. I feel very strongly about the country. We'll see how it turns out."
The real estate mogul and host of NBC's The Celebrity Apprentice flirted with a presidential run earlier this year, making President Obama's citizenship a top issue. However, Trump abandoned the idea of an official run to keep his eye on his business and TV gig. Meantime, a parade of GOP presidential candidates have already made the trek to the Trump Tower in New York to chat with The Donald. He plans to sit down Monday with Newt Gingrich.Asked to compare the upcoming debate with an episode of his show, Trump expressed supreme confidence."Well, I hope it does as well as The Apprentice," he said.Invitations for the debate have been sent out to the major candidates, but Jon Huntsman has already passed."Lol.
